My name is Karma—a buckskin American Quarter Horse with a golden coat and dark mane born right here at Stable-Spirit. My mom was one of the original horses of Stable-Spirit. She was pregnant with me when she was rescued from Canada. I moved to Arizona in 2007 for 4 years with one of our cofounders but found my way home and this place has always been my home. I am a very sensitive girl, and I tend to express my feelings through my body language, making it easy for those around me to understand what I need or how I’m doing.

I think that helps me understand the clients that come to visit me at Stable-Spirit a little better too. I try to offer quiet comfort to everyone that comes for help so I can be a good example of empathy and understanding in our therapy herd. Our jobs are very important to all our friends that visit us here!
